Your Christmas Village Guide

Philadelphia's Christmas Village is back and there is plenty to be excited for this year. For the first time ever, Christmas Village has a beer garden called The Alm which has local beers on draft, plenty of seating and heated lamps to keep you warm on those cold winter days. Another new addition is the German Grill which is a massive tiered hanging grill that features traditional or smoked Bratwurst , Schnitzel with potato salad, spatzle (a German mac and cheese), and many more goodies. You will also definitely enjoy The Present, which is a massive 27-foot tall Christmas present shaped installation that is wrapped in over five miles of red and white lights. You will be able to walk around inside The Present and guests are encouraged to text a donation to different causes that will be matched by Bank of America.

You can finish your holiday gift shopping with some hand made gifts, chocolates and other unique and delectable treats. Some of the food highlights include the strudel stand, Helmuts Strudel, that has sweet and savory treats and is even open for breakfast, and the massively popular Baked Cheese Haus that has the famous raclette sandwiches where you can watch them slide the melty cheese right on to your freshly baked Lost Bread Co. bread.
