First Look at the New Yards Brewery

The new Yards brewery is a massive 70,000 sq ft facility with a large and inviting taproom. There are high ceilings and rows of benches that are perfect for making new friends while enjoying some great food and beer. We had the chance to see the inside and sample some of the new menu items that were created by chef James Burke to pair perfectly with all your favorite Yards beers. Some of the items we tried were: The Yards BBQ platter (Texas brisket, cheddar bratwurst, St. Louis ribs and a side of coleslaw and potato salad), The Pork Belly Kabobs, and the Yards Wings (with smoked long hot sauce). The new location has a bigger focus on food, and includes a variety of options that are sure to please everyone.

The brewery definitely breaths some new life into the area, and is just the start of the wave of new businesses that will be filling that stretch of Spring Garden St. very soon. The space officially opens on Thursday, November 16th, and will be a great place to gather for all ages. (See the interior and the full menu in the photos below)
