Pop Up Christmas Bar

In case you haven't heard by now, there is a pop up Christmas bar in South Philly. ITV on East Passyunk ave. has been transformed into a winter wonderland complete with Christmas decorations, lights and specialty cocktails. The "Miracle In The Valley" is going on through December 23rd and is part of a nationwide concept started in NYC. They have a robust cocktail menu with a new special each day as part of the cocktail advent calendar. There will be guest bartenders throughout the month, and a portion of the proceeds will go to charity. We would not recommend planning your whole evening around this as the bar can get pretty crowded, but if you are feeling festive then definitely go early for dinner and stick around for a few drinks with friends. The menu by Chef Nick Elmi will definitely not disappoint.

Some of the Christmas Themed cocktails include: Jingle Ball Nog, Christmapolitan, Bad Santa, How the Gimlet Stole Christmas, You'll Shoot Your Rye Out,and our personal favorite... Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r! which is made with Barbados Rum, Cachaca, Trinidad Overproof Rum, Purple Yam-Coconut Orgeat, and Pineapple.
